Sensible Comics....

I got these images from a friend this morning and I enjoyed looking at the concept of the drawings, the humor and most of all, reading the messages...they remind me of my comic books back then....way back then...ha ha ha... Hope these bless you!

Executive Portrait

Last Tuesday, I was asked to photograph a couple of Executives from a multinational company. It was a timed pressure thing as we did this only during their lunch time.... Here are two of my favorites among the whole bunch....

The Gift

Last December 20, 2007, my wife had her ultrasound and found out that we'll be having a BABY BOY!!!! This is the best Christmas and New Year's gift I have ever received.....after 3 lovely daughters, we have been blessed with an UNICO HIJO...the only grandson on the side of my in-laws [they have 9 grand daughters, mind you]....and the only one to carry the Pilapil name on the side of my Mom.... He already has a name----that's how excited the girls and I became---it's Patrick David Silang Pilapil! Yahooooo!! What more can I ask?

A December Wedding

Five days before Christmas, I still had a chance to shoot a wedding held at Lipa, Batangas [a southern province in Luzon, Philippines] which was a two hour drive from the Metropolis... The preparation and reception was held in a farm within the city surrounded with trees and a great deal of sheep, doves, goats, etc. We were there at 5:30am and it was pretty cold and just in time to get some good sunrise shots. The bride travelled all the way from London to get married in a special time of the year! The wedding took place in a huge cathedral and I marvelled at the architecture of the church. I had a great time shooting for almost 9 hours and it was worth it! I love shooting morning weddings due to the available light and the cool air specially in a place and season as this. Here are some of images from the event....
